Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Compeast collects through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and the rights you have over it.

1. Who we are
Compeast ("Compeast", "we", "us") is a software and technology company providing software development, e-commerce and AI integration services. For the purposes of this policy, Compeast is the data controller of the personal data collected through this website. You can contact us about anything in this policy at info@compeast.com.
2. What data we collect
We collect only the data you choose to give us and the minimum technical data needed to run the site:
- Contact form: your name, email address, company name (optional), the topic you select and the message you write.
- Email: if you email us directly, we keep the correspondence and your contact details.
- Technical data: standard server logs containing your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. We use this to keep the site secure and to diagnose faults.
This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking. A single session cookie is set to protect the contact form against misuse; it contains no personal data and expires when you close your browser.
3. Why we use it and on what basis
- To respond to your enquiry. We use your contact details and message to reply and to discuss the services you asked about. Basis: your consent, given when you submit the form, and the steps needed before entering into a contract with you.
- To deliver our services. If you become a client, we process your data under the contract between us.
- To keep the site secure. Server logs and rate limits protect the site from abuse. Basis: our legitimate interest in running a safe service.
We do not use your data for marketing unless you ask us to, and we never sell personal data.
4. Who we share it with
Enquiries are delivered to our business inbox by our email service provider, which processes the data only on our instructions. We do not share your data with any other third party unless the law requires it. We may use hosting and email providers located outside Egypt; where we do, we ensure appropriate contractual protections are in place.
5. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a project: up to 12 months after our last contact, then deleted.
- Client correspondence and contracts: for the duration of the engagement and afterwards for as long as the law and our accounting obligations require.
- Server logs: up to 90 days.
6. Your rights
Under the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020) and, where it applies to you, the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your data, or to stop processing it, where there is no good reason for us to continue;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before withdrawal;
- receive a copy of the data you gave us in a commonly used format;
- complain to the relevant data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@compeast.com. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Security
Data submitted through this site is encrypted in transit. Access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it to respond to you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
8. Links to other websites
This site links to clients' websites and to third-party services. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your data.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
